Quotations
Quotations are valid for a period of 90 calendar days from date of issue.
Caldotherm reserve the right to update prices quoted after this period expires.
Any discounts quoted are on an individual customer basis.
Caldotherm
reserve the right to alter or withdraw discounted prices on subsequent quotations.
All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate.
Packing and Delivery Charges
Standard charges for UK Mainland delivery are:
a) £6.00 for deliveries with a value less
than £200
b) 3% of total value
for deliveries with a value greater than £200
Delivery charges may
vary for very small and light or very large and heavy items.
Customers
will be notified of all delivery charges prior to ordering.
Delivery charges are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate.
Payments Due
New customers will normally be required to pay in advance via pro-forma invoice.
Payment may be by cheque or BACS transfer (please contact us for details).
For established customers, and at the discretion of Caldotherm, credit
terms may be offered. Where credit is offered, payment is due no later than thirty (30) calendar days from the date
of invoice unless by prior mutual agreement in writing between Caldotherm and the Customer.
Overdue payments will be subject to interest and compensation claims in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial
Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Caldotherm reserve the right to withdraw credit terms
at any time.
Warranties
For all goods and services supplied
by Caldotherm, the warranty period commences on the date of receipt of full payment, and ends twelve calendar months
from the date of supply.
The warranty covers only the direct replacement or
repair of a failed component part, or refund of its value, as defined by Caldotherm, and is valid for:
a) All parts supplied by Caldotherm.
b) A complete system installation which has been carried out solely by Caldotherm or its authorised agents.
The Caldotherm warranty does not cover:
c) Parts damaged, misused, modified or incorrectly installed by the Customer.
d) Incidental or consequent loss.
e) Identical or equivalent parts not supplied by Caldotherm.
f) Parts returned to Caldotherm without full, traceable identification labels attached.
g) Parts which have no faults.
h) Faults caused
by exposure to water, corrosion, cable damage or loose connections unless installed solely by Caldotherm or its agents.
i) Unsatisfactory system operation due to the failure or otherwise of parts not supplied by Caldotherm.
Goods Acceptance
All goods should be properly inspected upon receipt by the customer.
Caldotherm will only accept goods damaged in transit which have been inspected and
returned within ten working days of the delivery date.
Goods Returned
Returned
goods will only be accepted by Caldotherm by prior written, faxed or emailed consent.
Goods which are returned in a damaged or altered condition, other than those damaged in transit, will not entitle
the customer to credit.
Undamaged returned goods will be credited to the customer less any carriage costs and 20% of the goods
value to cover administration and handling.
